Someone once noted that "Where there is unity, there is always victory."
Every great team has a group of leaders that is a unifying agent for their team's mission. They become leaders by their commitment, enthusiasm, dedication, work ethic, and willingness to help others perform at peak levels.
They are like-minded people who share common beliefs and commit to accomplishing something more magnificent than could ever do alone!
Each of us can recall a peak performance from our favorite person and team. Even when the odds seem against them, the group finds a way to rally and win.
The team wins because they collectively believe and decide to take charge.
That's how great teams operate. A threefold cord is hard to break. If one falls, there is someone to lift them. No one is left to make it on their own.
We achieve the most when we unite our efforts, skills, and talents to reach a goal and obtain a shared vision.
When teams are united, focused, dedicated, and disciplined, they are almost unbeatable.
Great teams' accomplishments occur when the leader sets the vision, and others embrace the opportunity as their own.
People who accomplish great things in life understand that they must be single-minded. See a person skilled in their work. They will stand before kings and not serve obscure people.
A double-minded person is unstable in all their ways. The eye is the lamp of your body. When your vision is clear, your whole body is full of light. But when it is weak, the entire body is full of darkness.
Being a unifying force multiplies your impact. We can affect the lives and outcomes of our family, friends, colleagues, clients, and the nation.
Leaders with unifying gifts CARE in four ways.
1. Cast the vision.
2. Affirms the team. Individually and collectively.
3. Rejoice in the individual and team victories.
4. Engage in the battle and leads by example.
Unity begins with an attitude of the being of one mind and purpose with a singular focus. As a man or woman thinks in their heart, so they are.
When teams operate as one in mind, spirit, and vision, a dynamic occurs, which creates the power to overcome and win.
Wherever you find unity, you will see the following dynamics.
* They were all in one accord.
* All the people came together with a unified purpose.
* All those who believed were together and continuing day by day with one mind.
Great leaders are intentional in modeling, motivating, stimulating, and encouraging others to give their best.
Take time to write down two actions you will take in becoming a unifying force where you are.
