Greetings Summit Leaders,

Many are experiencing the victory in unity, harmony, and love today.
It can happen in an individual, family, community, company, team, and enterprise. "Behold how good and pleasant it is for us to dwell together in unity!" Working together in harmony and unity with love creates a threefold cord that does not easily break.

The test of this threefold cord's strength comes in victory and adversity. Great leadership guides, models and reflects the qualities that pull people together, forming a powerful team.

Members use their gifts and talents with grateful and joyful hearts.
Their motivation is seeing the advancement of the larger purpose and those working together.
I remember seeing this up close during a career assignment, which placed me on a competitive account. Our company did not have favorable standing with this client.

Nevertheless, we won a very complicated business transformation engagement. Our team came together in unity, harmony, and love. In an environment resistant to change, we united around the leadership of someone we trusted. I learned a great deal in my association with this leader. The project encountered great resistance. At one point, the agreement was at risk of being canceled due to opposition. The team's response was driven first through their deep respect for each other and caring.

Great leaders understand the power of love, which is caring for those you lead. Over five years, the team continued to work together in harmony, unity, and love in serving the client. The project grew and flourished. The results were a highly functioning team, a successful engagement with a satisfied client, and one of the highest awards given for service excellence.

How can we create this environment?

1. Unity. Become a unifying influence through an undivided mind which is singular in focus. Develop the mindset of others first, the bigger purpose, and the advancement of your teammates. "The star of the team is the team. "We" supersedes "me." John Wooden
2. Harmony: Focus on encouragement, affirmation, and communication. Lead by example and endurance. Let us run with endurance the race set before us. We need each other to move forward by faith for the good of many on our journey as leaders.
3. Love: Care for each other on your journey in victory and adversity. Always share a kind word. Everyone enjoys a fitting reply. It is wonderful to say the right thing at the right time. Let no unwholesome word proceed out of our mouth, but only such a word that is good for edification according to the need of the moment.

The approach of unity, harmony, and love is a well-documented strategy for success in our lives and careers. Each of us benefits from this proven principle of life and leadership. I am grateful to discover its benefits.
"We reap what we sow. More than we sow. Later than we sow."
Love never fails!

Victory!
