Chris is a second generation Arizona native. He has been fly fishing Arizona for 46 years and has been lucky enough to fish all over the world like Slovenia, Scotland, Ireland, Chalk Streams in England, Spanish Pyrenees, Iceland and all over the good ole USA. His favorite place to fish is in the White mountains of Arizona. He's built a private wealth management firm for the last 32 years, and still spends a fair amount of my time caring for his clients. He sits on the board of several charities around the Phoenix and is the President of the board for the Homeless ID Project. They will provide over 12,000 pieces of documentation this year for homeless individuals trying to end their homelessness.I love stopping into fly shops wherever I’m at. Phoenix had been without a fly shop for several years, and two years ago I decided that Phoenix deserved to have a great fly shop, and no one else seemed to want to open one, so I decided it was up to me. AZ Fly Shop doesn’t belong to me, it belongs to the community, I am just a steward of the community fly shop. We are committed to serving the fly fishing community and also our broader community. Our first twelve months in business we gave $25,000 to local charities; casting for recovery, the mayfly project, Homeless ID Project, the scouts fly fishing camp, and a few conservation efforts.Learn more about your ad choices.
