This week, Jessalynn is joined by Gillian Roberts, a Canadian triathlete and teacher who was diagnosed with ovarian cancer at the age of 28. Gillian is also a writer for her blog, where she shares her personal experience of navigating life with ovarian cancer, her triathlete training, and her thoughts on how to support and be there for someone who is navigating their own journey with cancer. Today, Gillian shares her personal story of her cancer diagnosis, how she got into becoming a triathlete, and her experience with navigating grief and resentment following the discovery of a tumor that led to the removal of her reproductive organs. This is such an impactful episode, and I can't wait for you to listen. If you or someone you know is suffering from the effects of trauma, please know you are not alone in your healing journey.
