This week Jessalynn is joined by Emmy Marie, a Certified Trauma Informed Coach, whose own experience with trauma and complex PTSD inspired her to become a Trauma Informed Coach. Emmy opens up about her past in an abusive relationship and how her PTSD manifested physically, mentally and emotionally. Through Emmy's education, she not only learned how to help others affected by trauma but also learned to understand how her past has impacted her mental health and techniques to aid on her healing journey. Emmy speaks on the importance of power vs strength and how her abuser might have weakened her but never took away her power. They also discuss the pillars of her work and how she helps her clients as a Certified Trauma Informed Coach in both 1:1 coaching sessions, and through larger courses.
