Description

This week, Jessalynn sits down with Jordan Canova, founder of the More Than female empowerment brand and host of the I Am More Than Podcast. At 19, Jordan's public story began when she decided to leave her small town and attend college in Arizona. After experiencing significant weight loss, she found that the validation surrounding her weight was fueling her biggest insecurities. Her modelling career began to take off, however, her mental and physical health started to severely decline. Today, Jordan reflects on how she took control of her health when she decided she needed to leave the modelling industry and opens up about the emotional and financial abuse she endured during this time. They talk about the importance of prioritizing one's own health, particularly when dealing with anxiety and trauma stored in the body. Jordan also shares the steps and resources she really leaned on during her healing period, as well as the resources she continues to lean on today.
