Helping you thrive through intentional and effective stewardship.
Larry W. O’Nan is a 1966 graduate of the University of Colorado. He and his wife Pat served as full-time staff of Cru (Campus Crusade for Christ) for 18 years. During this time, Larry dedicated 13 years to developing and overseeing the accelerated growth of many fund development initiatives. These efforts resulted in more than $150 million raised for evangelism and development programs worldwide.
In 1984 Larry joined the Management Development Associates team as vice president of stewardship strategies. He invested 30 years in providing counsel to Christian ministries by advising and helping clients implement stewardship-focus programs that helped raise additional tens of millions of dollars for a variety of ministry purposes. He stepped down from full-time consulting in 2012.
He continues to speak in the United States and abroad about lifestyle stewardship and fund development practices. As an active volunteer, Larry serves on numerous community and Christian non-profit organization boards. He is a recognized specialist in non-profit board governance, non-profit management, project management, major gifts strategy design and implementation, and funding campaigns.
Larry is the author of Giving Yourself Away (1984) and Intentional Living and Giving (2024). Larry co-authors practical assessment tools like the Church Stewardship Inventory, the Organization Stewardship Inventory, the Personal Stewardship Inventory, and the Success Probability Inventory. He has written over 300 funding proposals for many non-profit organizations.
