In 1966, the Ford Bronco revolutionized the automobile industry by being the first "Sports-Utility Vehicle." During an era where exploration and discovery was a global trend, the Bronco's off-road capabilities satisfied society's need for adventure. The Bronco eventually went out of production in 1996 due to a shift in the American consumer's taste. However, almost 25 years since it was last put on the assembly line, the Ford Bronco is back.
This week, In Wheel Time is taking a deep dive into all things Bronco to figure out what brought the cult classic back to life. In this episode, special guest and author of Ford Bronco: A History of Ford's Legendary 4x4, Todd Zuercher, gives a historical rundown of the Bronco's 30 revolutionary years on the market.
