This might be our silliest episode yet…and also one of our most reflective. Kat kicks things off with a truly unhinged love math equation, and from there we recap and riff on some of our most thought-provoking recent conversations.
We revisit Derek’s episode and unpack the idea of “reframing” ; when it can be helpful, and when it might actually be pretty terrible advice. From there, we reflect on Mike’s episode and dig into conditional vs. unconditional love, how easily we can lose ourselves in relationships, and how our words shape not only how others see people, but how we do too.
In the second half, the conversation shifts as Kat opens up about her time spent in a cult, leading into a recap of Episode 10 with Andrew — an episode packed with fascinating, uncomfortable, and deeply insightful moments that linger long after the mic is off.
We also get delightfully unserious: sharing the silliest gifts we’ve ever received, swapping the worst advice we’ve been given, and laughing as Sjeli leans fully into the chaos with a silly childhood memory. Kat brings it back down to earth with some bad advice many of us have heard…and maybe even followed.
Equal parts silly, honest, and unexpectedly deep, this episode is a little unhinged in the best way.
