In 2015, the Church of Saint Agnes hosted its annual Lenten Lectures on the theme "Catholic Converts." Dale Ahlquist, president of the Society of G.K. Chesterton, spoke on Chesterton as an English Catholic convert who arose from his Anglican roots to become known as "the Apostle of Common Sense."
