On this episode we sit down with one of the most important surfer shapers of his generation especially in the context of the modern longboard.
This year (2025) Walden celebrates 60 years in the surfing industry! He has created for himself and for our surf culture a big footprint filled with surfboard design contributions that have impacted what surfers have surfed for decades and will continue using these concepts for decades to come.
Nearing his 8th decade of life, Steve has plenty of stories and anecdotes to share. It is my responsibility to go back to the Walden shop and get more answers and surf culture wisdom from this giant.
