We hit a milestone with episode 20 and dove right into what’s going on with prep, Nick’s eight weeks out and this one feels different. We talked about why rebound phases can be harder than prep, the importance of setting small goals, and why discipline always beats motivation.
From there, we got into the everyday stuff like walking and daily movement, training with family, and how injuries change your perspective on training. We also shared some laughs around travel, movies, and sports.
The big theme this week: keeping it simple. Diet, training, even life and it doesn’t have to be complicated. High protein helps, too much variety could cause some issues, and the best results come when you actually enjoy the process.
We wrapped it up with a fun one.....dream cars and what we’d pick if money didn’t matter.
