In this episode of the OnStage Colorado Podcast, hosts AlexMiller and Toni Tresca take a look at the whole concept of filming theatre. From high-end productions like Hamilton and Shrek to bootleggers recording entire shows on the sly, we dive into what it takes to record a show, why more theatres don’t do it and some of the many considerations to take into account.

 

Later in the episode, Alex catches up with Abby Apple Boes,a well-known theatre artist in Colorado who sings, acts and directs. Abby has a couple of one-woman cabaret performances coming up at the Aurora Fox Nov. 15 and 16 and also will be in the director’s chair for a few showsupcoming.
