Day 38 — and while it was a productive, satisfying day on the farm, something hit deeper.
✔ Horses worked
✔ Paddocks harrowed
✔ Transport prep sorted
✔ Youngsters handled
But online, I came across something that broke my heart:
Seeing an online post about a horse that had degloved its hoof, no vet called, and people were going against veterinary advice, offering home remedies instead of urgent care.
It broke my heart.
But more importantly, it fuelled my fire.
I’m not interested in just talking about the problem.
I’m driven to be part of the solution.
To raise awareness, improve education, and ensure better care is within reach.
That’s the mission I’m stepping into.
