Day 32 — and it was a grind.
Worked three horses
Unloaded and fed out baleage
Spent what felt like an entire afternoon chasing a major electric fence fault, no power to half the property, so it had to be done, but it left me frustrated.
Frustrated because there’s study to fit in.
Vet reports waiting.
And a growing sense that time is slipping away.
But here’s what lifted the weight of the day:
A neighbour is checking in.
A couple of good friends showing up with a message or a word.
Those boosts matter!
Today reminded me that it’s okay to feel the drag, but it’s what you do next (and who’s around you) that keeps you steady.
