Description

Day 65 was a full clinic day in Whangārei, treating 8–9 horses from start to finish. For context, that’s close to 8–10 hours of physical, hands-on treatments. The work is intense, but this is where the real results are created. And yes, if you listen closely, I said Day 56 instead of Day 65 in the recording,  that’s what long clinic days do to you!

One horse I’ve been rehabbing for six months is now barely recognizable from where he began. Strength, topline, balance,  it’s been a steady build, but today proved again that patience and consistency always pay off.

Alongside him were new horses at the very start of their journey. This is the season to identify weaknesses, address saddle fit changes, and set foundations before the work ramps up.

Big days like these demand stamina — physically and mentally. But when you see the difference in the horses, it’s worth every hour.
