IntroductionHave you ever found yourself in a situation where you couldn't see what doors God was opening for you? Maybe you were unsure of his vision for your life or the mission of your church. It's not uncommon to feel this way. Sometimes, God's plans and purposes can be difficult to discern, and we may find ourselves in need of his wisdom and guidance.
God Will Open DoorsIn Revelation 3:7-13, we find a message from Jesus to the church in Philadelphia. He commends them for their faithfulness and assures them that he holds the key of David, and what he opens, no one can shut, and what he shuts, no one can open. This passage reminds us that God is in control, and he has the power to open doors for us that no one can close.
Seeking His Wisdom and DiscernmentWhen we find ourselves struggling to see what doors God is opening, it's important to turn to him in prayer and seek his wisdom and discernment. As we ask God to open our eyes, we invite him to reveal his vision for our lives and the mission of our church. It is through this humble act of surrendering our own understanding and relying on his guidance that we can begin to see clearly.
Listening and ObeyingAs we seek God's vision, we must also be willing to listen and obey. Sometimes, God's plans may not align with our own desires or expectations. But when we trust in his wisdom and follow his leading, we can be confident that he will guide us on the right path.
God's vision for our lives and the mission of our church may not always be clear at first. It may require patience, perseverance, and a willingness to step out in faith. But as we continue to seek God's wisdom and discernment, we can be assured that God will open doors for us in his perfect timing.
ConclusionSo, if you find yourself in a season of uncertainty, take heart. God sees your situation, and he has a vision for your life and the mission of your church. Don't be afraid to ask him to open your eyes and reveal his plans to you. As you seek his wisdom and discernment, you'll soon discover what God wants to say to you about his vision.
