The "Prosperity Gospel" is gaining steam, especially over the last five years. The majority of churchgoers ascribe to the Prosperity Gospel now, and only 5 percent categorically oppose it. We take the three propositions advocated by the Prosperity Gospelites and examine them through the lens of Scripture here. Is there any truth to these propositions? God wants you to be wealthy. Give more, and God will reward you with more riches. To receive material blessings, you must do something for God. Do you believe these things?
