The Washington Post has a scare piece on homeschooling and the rise of “Christian Nationalists,” to include a not-very-fair assessment of ABeka (and BJU Press). We take another look at Christian nationalism, and find we prefer decentralization over centralization, and Christian law over whatever Karl Marx was all about, Islamic law, Hindu law, or even Nancy Pelosi law. Was America ever a Christian nation by any definition? And how does a history course deal with the sins of a nation, and by what standard would we define sin?
