This week the PsychoFellas chat with the soulful songbird Maleke O'Ney. Maleke is a multi-talented singer/songwriter that was born in a small town in Florida and later moved to the nation’s capital where she began her musical career. Maleke performed at several BET sponsored events and was the lead singer for a popular GoGo Band. This exposure gained the attention of a production team birthed from the Tank and Ginuwine camps. They created a body of work that sparked the interest of Dreamworks reps and Maleke was introduced to the reality of the music business. After some creative differences, Maleke refocused and repositioned herself to begin a new chapter in her journey as an Independent Artist in Atlanta, GA.Maleke has collaborated and forged many great relationships with the entertainment industry elite. Maleke has established herself not only as a highly sought after Performing Artist, but one of the go to writers within the Atlanta and UK music scenes.
