This week, we end our Controversial 80s Movie event with one of the coolest coming-of-age films of the last 40 years. This week The Plotaholics take a look at the 1989 black comedy, Heathers, starring Winona Ryder, Christian Slater, and Shannen Doherty.
In this film Ryder plays Veronica, the fourth member of a group of mean girls known as the 'Heathers'. Growing disillusioned with their antics, Veronica meets the enigmatic JD (Slater), who shows her that there are ways to get revenge.
