Spirituality is just one part of our lives that plays a big role in our level of Joy.  A Joy filled life brings us a sense of connectedness to a higher power and to each other.  In this podcast, our friend Tim Penner helps us explore the difference between religion and spirituality.   Tim shares about how to talk to and also how to listen to God as well as some of the things we were taught about God when we were younger that may  be limiting our relationship with Him.  We pray that this podcast will help strengthen your relationship with your spirituality and help play a part in keeping your life in balance. 
Here's a little about Tim:
Tim is a National Academy of Sports Medicine certified corrective exercise specialist and personal trainer. He has trained people of all ages and abilities (including a 97 year old), and taught specialized high intensity interval training classes. Tim has trained NFL and CFL football players from more than 12 NFL teams and 3 Canadian teams.  He has worked for ESPN at 2 winter and 2 summer X-games.
Tim has done many crazy things in his life, including being on one of the nation’s first sport climbing teams, participating in a national championship adventure race, participating (and winning his category) in the world’s largest on-rock climbing competition. He even worked as a Major League Baseball’s AAA division team mascot!
After spending 26 years in a family business, his love of seeing people encouraged & strengthened led him to become a personal trainer, which he enjoyed immensely for over 10 years. In 2021 Tim went back to college – bible college, and he’s just a few months away from graduating. He’s now extremely excited to be living his mission of edifying people and imparting joy. He and his wife Dianne have been blissfully married for over 32 years, and currently live in Mesa, Arizona.
