This is the fourth miracle in our series. Prior to this miracle Jesus had called His apostles, preached many sermons, including the Sermon on the Mount, and calmed storms . He had demonstrated His power over nature, sickness and death, however, today's lesson clearly shows His power over the spiritual realm as well. This is, by far, the most extreme of all of His miracles as Jesus is confronted by a man possessed by demons(about 6,000 (Mark 5:1-20). After this incredible demonstration of power in casting out the demons, He told the man to "go and tell"...listen and then "Go and tell how much the Lord has done for you".
