As we continue to cruise through the 66 books of the Bible, one book at a time, we come to 1 Kings. This book naturally divides itself into 2 sections: The united kingdom (chapters 1-11) and the divided kingdom (chapters 12-22). The first half of the book is about Solomon, the wisest and richest person to ever live. The second half of the book is about the 4 kings in Judah and the 8 kings in Israel who followed Solomon.
