Description

Ana Drehwing played lacrosse at Lafayette College from 2010-2013 and was also a 3-sport athlete in high school.  Ana talks about growing up in Wyckoff, New Jersey, as the youngest as 3 girls, playing multiple sports as a kid, not playing lacrosse until Freshman year of high school, and how she got into it.  She details her great Ramapo High School career playing soccer, basketball, and lacrosse, what it was like to play lacrosse with both sisters, being named the 2009 Jersey Sports Athlete of the Year, the recruiting process in basketball and lacrosse, and what led her to choose Lafayette.  Ana describes the transition from high school to college lacrosse, playing a year in college with one sister, Maria, playing against her other sister, Elizabeth, some injuries she faced, and the great turnaround the program had during her time there.  She also discusses her coaching career and her teaching position in Special Education.
