Description

Ashley Doty (maiden name Ashley Seal) played soccer at Oregon State University from 2008-2011.  She talks about growing up in Williams, Oregon, how she got into soccer, being an Oregon State fan from a young age, and balancing several sports with club and ODP soccer.  Ashley discusses her great career at Hidden Valley High School where she lettered in 4 sports, won 2 State Championships in soccer, and was the Oregon Player of the Year.  She then describes the recruiting process, why she picked Oregon State, playing in the competitive PAC-10 Conference, and having to switch positions.  She details her outstanding 4 year career at Oregon State where she was a part of 3 NCAA Tournament teams, made it to the Sweet 16 for the first time in school history, and never lost to rival University of Oregon.  Ashley also discusses playing in Canada for the Ottawa Fury, playing futsal post college, and her life with her husband Mike, and their young son.
