Ashley & Lauren Engeln are twin sisters who both played collegiate and professional basketball. Ashley played at Johnson & Wales- Denver in 2010-2011, Orange Coast Community College in 2011-2012, and Concordia University Irvine from 2012-2014. Lauren played at the University of Connecticut from 2010-2012 and Boston College from 2012-2015. They both then played professionally overseas for 5 years, and spent their last season together in Italy. They talk about growing up in Laguna Hills, California, how they got into basketball, their great careers at Laguna Hills High School, and their separate recruiting processes. They then discuss their careers in college, what it was like being away from each other, why they each transferred, and always supporting each other even though they were on opposite coasts. Lauren & Ashley describe their time overseas playing professional basketball, the amazing sites they saw, and the decision to play one last year together in Italy in 2020 before retiring. Since retirement, Ashley has started her own company "Drips to Sips" where she sells wine collars. She talks about how she came up with the idea, what a wine collar is, and getting the product in retail stores.
