Bobby Warshaw played soccer at Stanford University from 2007-2010, and then played 6 years professionally in the MLS and in Europe. He's also worked as a writer, analyst, and podcaster. Bobby talks about growing up in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania, how he got into soccer, his intensity and drive to succeed, playing ODP and making the U17 and U18 US National Teams, and his Mechanicsburg Area Senior High School career where he was named Gatorade Player of the Year twice. He describes why he chose Stanford, having a hard time in the beginning of his career, switching positions, his friendship with Kelley O'Hara, and the great NCAA Tournament run Stanford made in 2009. Bobby then details being selected in the 2011 MLS Draft, his two seasons with Dallas FC, why he decided to go to Europe, playing for teams in Sweden and Norway, and his last professional stop in 2016 back home for the Harrisburg City Islanders (Now Penn FC). He talks about his decision to retire, writing the book "When the Dream Became Reality", having his own podcast for a while, becoming an analyst for the MLS, and what he's up to today.
