Brody Grothus wrestled for the University of Iowa from 2012 to 2016. Brody chats about growing up with 3 brothers, playing in the Little League World Series in 2004 and 2005 and what a special experience going to Williamsport twice was, the lifelong friendship he made with J.D. Pakledinaz from the Little League experience, playing 3 sports in high school, and choosing to stay local to be a wrestler for the decorated University of Iowa program. He talks about the unique sport of wrestling, and how it's both a team and individual sport, having to drop a weight class, being an outstanding student-athlete, and having a great support system. Brody discusses his family's business "Grothus Dragbikes", his father's ability to build these complex bikes, the family atmosphere around the sport, and what it is like to race drag bikes. Brody also shares his sweet proposal story to his wife, Sarah.
