Description

Cory Andersen worked as a Gameday Marketing Assistant for the University of Connecticut's athletic program from 2010-2013, and now works in music management and has developed Cory Andersen Productions and PRYSM Music Management.  He talks about growing up in Enfield, Connecticut, being a lifelong UConn fan, and being into sports from a young age.  Cory then details why he chose to attend UConn, why he wanted to work in the sports marketing department, his duties as Gameday Marketing Assistant, and how basketball was his favorite sport to work at.  He describes many of the other activities he did as an undergrad, including working at a radio station and traveling into New York City for internships.  Cory explains why he wanted to get into the music industry, the first few steps he took out in Los Angeles after he graduated, working with Nick Jonas and Gavin DeGraw, being an entrepreneur, starting Cory Andersen Productions, and creating PRYSM and some of the very talented artists he's been working with.  He also discusses his continued support of UConn athletics and the Hot Sauce Challenge with The Husky Ticket Project.
