Elizabeth Pelton is a former United States Swimmer who also swam collegiately at the University of California-Berkeley from 2012-2016 where she helped win the 2015 National Championship.  She talks about growing up in Fairfield, Connecticut, but moving to Baltimore, Maryland, at a young age, coming from a large family of swimmers, and representing the United States and traveling the world at such a young age.  Elizabeth describes her high school career where she was homeschooled due to traveling so much for her swim career,  her recruiting process, why she chose Cal, knowing Head Coach Teri McKeever through US swimming, and coming so close to making the 2012 Olympic Team.  She then discusses her great career at Cal where she won National Swimmer of the Year as a Freshman, being teammates with Missy Franklin, having a talented team at Cal where they won many races and events, including the 2015 National Title, swimming internationally during the summers, and why she chose to retire after the 2016 Olympic Prelims.  Elizabeth talks about her life now in the Bay Area, still being involved in swimming, giving lessons, and working in marketing.
