Erica Williamson and Maria Noucas-Williamson are a married couple that met through basketball. Erica played at the University of Notre Dame from 2006-2010, and then went on to coach at Loyola-Maryland, George Washington, Towson, and Notre Dame, where she was a part of the 2018 National Championship. Maria played at Bowdoin College, and then went on to coach at Navy, Dartmouth, and Loyola-Chicago, where she just finished her 4th season. They both talk about their childhood, how they got involved in basketball, their great high school careers at South Mecklenburg and Portsmouth, the recruiting process, and why they chose Notre Dame and Bowdoin. They detail their great college careers and their different paths to coaching. They also discuss their coming out process, how they met, being long-distance for a while, the proposal story, and their beautiful wedding in New Hampshire.
