Haley Peters is a current professional basketball player who has played overseas, played in the WNBA for the San Antonio Silver Stars, Washington Mystics, and Atlanta Dream, and played collegiately at Duke from 2010-2014. She talks about growing up in Red Bank, NJ, having two brothers that also played basketball, being a lifelong Duke fan, attending Peddie School where she had a great career both on the court and in the classroom, and playing AAU for the Philadelphia Belles. Haley describes the recruiting process, why she chose Duke, having her oldest brother Casey on campus, playing right away as a freshman, the rivalry with UNC, and returning to play in a game after having to get stitches. She details her great career at Duke, getting to the Elite Eight 3 times, going undrafted in the 2014 WNBA Draft, but getting into the league in 2016, playing on several teams, and having a lot of success playing overseas, where she is still playing today.
