Description

Jared Miller played Professional Baseball in the Arizona Diamondbacks farm system from 2014-2019.   Collegiately, he played at Vanderbilt University from 2012-2014 and helped the team win the 2014 National Championship. He talks about growing up in Avon, Indiana, how he got into baseball, when he started pitching, and his great high school career where he excelled at baseball and basketball.  Jared describes the recruiting process, why he chose Vanderbilt, the transition from high school to college baseball, and what it was like living in Nashville.  He then details his great career at Vanderbilt, how good the team was, what it was like to play for Head Coach Tim Corbin, his experience at the College World Series in Omaha, and winning the 2014 National Championship.  Jared discusses his decision to forgo his senior season after getting drafted, his 6 year professional career where he reached as high as Triple A and made the 40 man roster for the Arizona Diamondback, why he retired in 2019, and what he's been up to lately.
