Description

Josh Lester is a Minor League Baseball Player that was drafted by the Detroit Tigers in the 2015 MLB Draft.  Prior to that, Josh played at the University of Missouri from 2013-2015 and was a member of the 2006 Little League World Series Championship Team.  He talks about growing up in Columbus, Georgia, how he got into baseball, his experience in Williamsport at the 2006 LLWS winning the World Championship against Japan, and the recognition he's gotten from it.  He then discusses the transition to the big league field, his great high school career at Columbus High School where he won 3 State Championships, his late growth spurt, and the recruiting process that led him to Missouri.  Josh details his great 3 years at Missouri, playing multiple positions in the infield, his experience in the Cape Cod League, being drafted into the 2015 Major League Baseball Draft, and his decision to forego his senior season to become a professional player.  He talks about being a Minor League Player, the lifestyle, getting to Triple A, the cancelled 2020 season, and his goal to make the Major Leagues.
