Julian DeBose played basketball at Rice University from 2011-2013 before transferring to Florida Gulf Coast university where he played from 2014-2016. He is also one of the founders of Learn Life Elite, a training and life coaching company. He talks about growing up outside of Washington DC, how he got into basketball, the great basketball in the DMV area, and playing AAU for Team Takeover. Julian describes his great career at St. John's College High School, the recruiting process, why he chose Rice, and what it was like being so far from home. He details his highlights at Rice, playing right away, and why he decided to transfer after his Sophomore season. Julian then talks about why he decided to transfer to Florida Gulf Coast, playing in the ASUN, his experience with Team USA in the 2015 World University Games, and playing in the NCAA Tournament.
