Maddie McCallie played basketball at Miami Ohio and Elon from 2013-2017 and is the daughter of Duke Women's Basketball Coach, Joanne P. McCallie. Maddie talks about what it's like having a mom as a Division I coach, growing up around the sport, and moving from Michigan to North Carolina in middle school. She also discusses her great career in both basketball and volleyball at Riverside High School in Durham, why she wanted to go down her own path and not play for her mom, and committing to Miami Ohio before eventually transferring to Elon. She then goes on to talk about her excellent career at Elon, having a huge game during an upset win at NC State, going 27-7 as a senior, the experience of playing against her mom's Duke team at Cameron Indoor Stadium, and what it was like to be in the same bracket as her mom during the 2017 NCAA Tournament.
