Description

Max Korten was a two sport athlete at Moravian College, running Track and Cross Country from 2013-2016.  Max discusses being diagnosed as Autistic at a young age, defying doctors who once said he would never be able to talk, going through years of occupational and speech therapy, blossoming in high school by participating in sports and other extracurricular activities, and when he realized he was a gay man.  He also talks about choosing Moravian, deciding to hide both his autism and sexuality when he went to college and how it affected him and his running times, and when he came out as his true self, his life (and running times) got so much better.
