Description

Megan Willis played softball at the University of Texas from 2004-2007, went to 2 Women's College Softball World Series, and then played 8 seasons in the National Pro Fastpitch League.  She coached at both Texas and in the NPF, and now works as an Analyst for the Longhorn Network.  She talks about growing up in Chandler, Arizona, how she got into softball, playing the position of catcher, and the great career she had at Corona Del Sol High School.  Megan describes the recruiting process, why she chose Texas, and wanting to catch for Cat Osterman.  She then discusses her great career with the Longhorns where she went to 2 WCWS, was the Big 12 Defensive Player of the Year, and set the Big 12 record for putouts.  Megan talks about her 8 year professional softball career where she reunited with Cat Osterman and won several titles, and also discusses her time coaching.  She then discusses her current career as a softball analyst for the Longhorn Network, and how great it is to see the game growing.
