Patrick Farrell was a walk-on for the Villanova University Basketball Team from 2012-2016 and was a member of the 2016 National Championship Team. He talks about growing up in Rockville Centre, New York, playing both basketball and lacrosse growing up, his great career at Chaminade High School, and how he ended up at Villanova as a preferred walk-on. Patrick describes what it was like to play for Coach Jay Wright, how every member of the team was treated the same way, and how the walk-ons made an impact on the team. He also describes winning the Big East regular season, not making out of the first weekend of the NCAA Tournament his first 3 years, receiving a scholarship for his senior year, and how the 2016 season did have some bumps along the way. Patrick details the run to the Final Four in Houston, getting into the semi-final game against Oklahoma, and what it was like to beat North Carolina at the buzzer for the National Championship. He talks about his great friendship with Ryan Arcidiacono, what he's been up to since graduation, and how he still follows the Villanova basketball team.
