Description

Taylor Burke is a musician currently based out of Nashville who recently released the EP "Dog Days".  Growing up, he was a phenomenal baseball and basketball player in South Jersey and also happens to be Bridget B.'s cousin!  He talks about growing up in Moorestown, New Jersey, getting into sports through his father, his passion for music starting at a young age, learning to play guitar, and creating a band with his friends.  He discusses special trips to Cameron Indoor Stadium to see Duke vs. UNC games with his dad, his athletic career at Moorestown High School where he was a varsity baseball player as a Freshman and a key member of his basketball team's underdog run through the state tournament his Senior year, his band Macklin recording a song that was available on streaming platforms, and why he chose to attend William & Mary for college.  Taylor discusses his continued pursuit of music being in bands in college and grad school,  being a stand-up comedian, his decision to move to Nashville, taking voice lessons, and what it's like to be a musician in that city.  He then talks about his EP he released in 2019, his process to writing music, his most recent EP "Dog Days", and his upcoming music ventures.
