Allah’s guidance is a light. Anyone who is guided receives that direction from Allah. The Qur’an is His guidance and a source of light. Ustadh Michael Wolfender shares what happens when these lights of guidance from Allah and the Qur’an meet.
Brother Michael explains, "Becoming a Muslim was an enjoyment for me. But the real light came, that feeling of light, that 'okay, I'm doing the right thing' only comes when you go to the Qur'an. That's where the light really comes.”
Allah is the light of the heavens and the earth, both physically and in guidance. Faith is like a light, a shining star in your heart enclosed in your chest. Qur’an is the light from Allah, the guidance of Allah. Everyone has this light and it becomes light upon light when connected with the Qur’an. Allah guides whomever He chooses. It is upon us to seek this guidance. This light is available for everyone.
