Happy Independence Day, Cellar Dwellers! As a super special bonus, we've got another installment of our Kids Korner series! Dan is severely outnumbered in this episode, as it is just him trying to keep five kids from ages four to eleven focused and moving forward, so quite possibly this one ends in a Lord of the Flies scenarios, definitely worth tuning in just to see if he survives. In celebration of the Fourth of July and summer and baseball, we decided to talk about one of our family's favorite movies, The Sandlot! Despite coming out when Dan was the same age as his kids, this movie really stands the test of time, and still connects with kids today. We discuss everyone's favorite characters and funniest parts of the movie, and we discuss where it stacks up against some newer hits like Frozen, Trolls, and Peter Rabbit. Overall it's a pretty fun trip down memory lane for the adults and a good look into how the new generation of kids feels about this endearing classic! As always, the Kids Korner episodes are family friendly and do not contain any explicit language (but possibly some burps and fart sounds).

Huge praise to the gods of the show: The Alita Army and Jack Thorne for their generous donations to help end Type One Diabetes, and most greatest praise is reserved for the one and only god of gods, with a whopping $10,000 donation, Zach Whittier!!!!
