Music and Dog have one element in common - an expression of Joy.  When you find Joy in anything that you do or think or feel, Dog says "let that be so for you". For canine companions this definitely includes sleeping together only if this brings everyone Joy. When humans choose their happy first, Dog will joyfully follow your lead.
