The concept and actuality of Shadow on a planet of duality isn't new to any being living on Earth - it's just that Animals handle it so much better than we do. For one thing, they embrace Shadow. In themselves and each other. They know that Light shines more brightly against a dark background. As humans have created external systems for the repressing of Shadow it takes a bit of effort for us to exit these systems and understand that some of our best attributes are found in the depths of Shadow.
