Gandhi, as a student in South Africa wanted to find out more about church after reading the bible. He found a church and was ushered to the back of the all white church. He said after, “I like your Christ, I don't like your christians. They are so unlike your Christ.” So India was founded by a Hindu!

Gandhi rebuked Christian missionaries saying “if christians would really live according to the teachings of Christ, as found in the bible, all India would be christians.”
