Description

Phil spoke from Exodus 33:12-23 about walking in God's favour.

If I was to say "I know how to attract God's favour". You would want to know yes?
So it's definitely not something you start a conversation with.
"Hey, how are you? Good. By the way, I know how to attract God's favour."
So in the interest of not sounding presumptuous, let me put it this way: I know how to get God's attention and, so let's have a look at how we can attract more of the favour of God.
As we see in scripture one thing that attracts God's favour has been the spark that resulted in
Deliverance,
healing,
provision,
children born from dead wombs,
blind eyes opened,
the dead raised
Ears unstopped
Terminal sickness gone
and countless other miraculous events

Favour of God has resulted in people in our church been healed of cancer, barrenness, set free from addictions to alcohol, drugs and food etc.
This favour has enabled words of knowledge about a person's life revealing the very thing that keeps them from coming to know Jesus.
You would think that if all this was happening because of one simple thing, then everybody would just do it, right?
It would be simple. Go and find out what these people are doing and do the same thing! That would make the most sense to me.
I wish it was that easy. Alright, Would you like to know how to attract God's favour? Would you like to know how to get God's attention?
Exodus 33 v12
Favour means kindness beyond what is due to you; to be preferred; over generous preferential treatment; having an edge or an advantage over others; partiality; unmerited act of kindness; endorsement; help rendered to you without recourse to what you have done, omitted to do or your qualification. We call it GRACE

Attraction is to draw attention, pull in, magnetise, captivate, lure, or entice. When you want to attract someone’s attention you have to do something to make them notice you.

God’s favour can bring a lot of blessings

• Give great and unusual victories even against impossible odds (Josh 6:20; 10: 9, 20).
• Give recognition and promotion even when you seem to the least likely one to receive it (1 Sam. 16:22).

• But there is a price to be paid, and that is righteousness.
