Relationships are built when there is communication and you spend time with each other. Well it's the same with the Lord. You cannot do all the talking. You must wait on Him. You must enter His rest.
Hebrews 4:1-3 NKJV
Therefore, since a promise remains of entering His rest, let us fear lest any of you seem to have come short of it. For indeed the gospel was preached to us as well as to them; but the word which they heard did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in those who heard it. For we who have believed do enter that rest, as He has said: “So I swore in My wrath, ‘They shall not enter My rest,’ ” although the works were finished from the foundation of the world.
In the old covenant the promise land was a piece a real estate. In the new covenant the promise land is rest in the finish work of Christ.
Ephesians 1:3 NKJV
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ,
God is trying to teach us how to rest. The one fear we should have is that we would not eater into His rest. Are you too busy to enjoy the blessing God has given us? Think about all the wonderful things God has done for you. Allow Him to Speak to you and show you His marvelous grace.
