Alison Brown is a homeschooling mom of five. She started studying emotional intelligence ten years ago in order to teach her kids about their feelings. When she had to deal with three bouts of prenatal depression, she realized that she needed better techniques to handle her own emotional ups and downs. Her research led her to develop the Power Emotions system to help people get in touch with the healthy forms of anger, sadness, and fear - instead of trying to suppress them - and use their power to experience more calm, confidence, and happiness.
