Description

Joanne Hagemeyer continues our study of Hebrews. Joanne says, “The Lord's invitation to God's people in the wilderness was to enter into Canaan, but they refused. Little did they know the die was cast in that moment, and that generation would never enter into the Promised Land, though their children would forty years later.

The writer of Hebrews was now using this story to show the importance of trusting God and moving with God. Who knows how much we will miss out on, otherwise?

Over the next two weeks, we're going to explore what it means to not to miss out on God's rest, how a failure to thrive as people of faith can be remedied by Jesus, though it will mean work for us, too."
